Title: Program Director

Summary of position:
Growing Stronger is a non-profit focused on improving the quality of medical care for little people through supporting research.  The Director’s primary responsibility is fundraising and marketing.  Fundraising will consist of recruiting nation-wide ambassadors, organizing fundraising events, and seeking corporate and other non-profit partnerships and sponsorships.  Marketing will consist of developing promotional materials for fundraisers, writing and issuing press releases and maintaining and updating Growing Stronger’s web-site.
The Program Director will be the lead representative and contact person of the organization and will report to the founders of the organization. The ideal candidate is a passionate believer in our mission, has experience with working with physicians and scientists, and experience with non-profit fundraising.

Skills Required:
technical skills: powerpoint, weebly.com
communication skills:   excellent reading, writing and communications skills necessary to communicate Growing Stronger’s mission and vision to a diverse audience
interpersonal skills: outgoing, friendly and resilient personality that can win over people to the organization’s mission
organizational skills: develop ambassador and marketing program; keep track of fundraising targets and budget

Time commitment: full-time

Type: candidate will initially be a 1099 contractor.  

Location: Work from your home.

Compensation: $40K- $75K; commensurate with experience
